No matter how much time you spent on grooming, you can always need a little extra help to keep your horse in best condition. Shampooing your horse removes sweat and bacteria properly and help to keep the coat shiny.
BUT…neither human shampoos nor harsh chemicals are suitable for the horse’s skin. As these products don’t match the natural pH level of the horse’s skin they destroy the natural skin barrier and cause sever reactions like itchy and dry skin, pain or even serious infections.
